In the West Pacific, Typhoon Noul is passing the northern Philippines today and JTWC is forecasting it to hit Hong Kong on Saturday. It’s not a strong storm as such things go, but given the population and infrastructure density a direct hit on Hong Kong could easily top $1 Billion in impacts.
