In addition to natural hazards, Enki conducts research in to anthropogenic hazards ranging from climate change to conflicts. An important but lesser known area of Enki’s work is in the field of geopolitical analysis – as human response to disaster, be they natural or self inflicted, are always political. An emphasis of Enki’s work is the economic aspects of these events.
