Mario here and gone, still quiet (other than a M7.5 earthquake).

There are currently no active storms in any of the basins! The depression off the coast of Mexico briefly became Tropical Storm Mario before becoming “Remnants of Mario.” It may drop another couple of inches of rain on Jalisco (which is a flash flood risk especially in the mountains), but that’s it. There are two disturbances in the East Pacific, but that’s it.

The orange blob in the Atlantic is surrounded by dry air, hard to see how it will spin up, but NHC is still carrying it at 40% over the next week …

The stuff in the Indian Ocean has calmed down as well, as Blossom has degraded and the invest remains weak.
