The National Hurricane Center has started advisories on Tropical Depression Three. Here are NHC’s Key messages regarding Tropical Depression Three (en Español: Mensajes Claves). A tropical storm watch has been issued for the South Carolina coast from Edisto Beach to Little River Inlet – this does NOT include Frogmore, but does include some of the metroplex:

TD3 is forecast to drift northward tonight, NHC is forecasting it to become a minimal tropical storm before landfall Sunday. The area to the right (northeast) of landfall will get the most rain and maybe some gusty winds; it’s not likely any sustained tropical storm winds will get off the beaches. The biggest threat, such as it is, will be from flash flooding. Here is the TAOS(tm) TC Lachesis impact estimate … most impacts will be due to disruption, not damage.
