Quick note on Flossie (1 July)

Flossie continues to intensify off the Pacific coast of Mexico, now a hurricane. Here are NHC’s Key messages regarding Hurricane Flossie (en Español: Mensajes Claves).

The forecast keeps the worst of it offshore, but still risks of heavy surf, gusty winds, and flash flooding, so be alert for warnings.

The blob of doom over North Florida is still 20%, not likely to be a problem. Note that NHC doesn’t even say “interests in Florida should monitor” so feel free to not worry about it.
