Hurricane Erick to hit Mexico as nearly Cat 3 tomorrow

Hurricane Erick spun up quickly and is headed towards the south-central coast of Mexico, just east of the still suffering Acapulco area … here are NHC’s Key messages regarding Hurricane Erick (en Español: Mensajes Claves). The TAOS(tm)/Lachesis TC damage model forecast is showing about 5.5 million people in the tropical storm wind swath, and likely economic impacts approaching $1 Billion USD:
