Savannah soil moisture back below 50%

At least in midtown, the available soil moisture is back below 50%. That is the point most plants can no longer draw water out of the soil, and is classified as “critically dry.”

The forecast doesn’t look good for a while, both GFS and ECM show it staying dry on the coast despite risk of flooding in Texas the the south-central states …

So we will have to wait a bit longer for a shift in the patterns.
