Typhoon Sinlaku is on its way out of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and headed into the cold waters of the North Pacific Ocean.

The storm caused tens of millions of dollars of damage to the CNMI. As a reminder, the Commonwealth is part of the US, and are US citizens, so hopefully somebody in D.C. is paying attention.
Thanks to donations (which do seem to decline during the off season, hint if you haven’t lately 😛 ), will be rolling out several new graphics and data sets this Atlantic hurricane season. Here’s an example of something I’m experimenting with, using the European Centre’s AI Forecast system …
