A pulse of cold air will descend from the north across the US this weekend, just like it tends to start doing this time of year. Monday night/Tuesday morning will be cold, near freezing to within a few miles of the coast in the Frogmore Metroplex.

Naturally our biggest concern is for Florida’s iguana population, with terrifying headlines gracing The Palm Beach Post like “‘Gobsmacking’ cold front to sweep Florida with freezes in the north, paralyzed iguanas in the south“.

On that note, have a good weekend!

Just curious… has there ever been a hurricane season where no hurricanes made US landfall?
quite a few, 2015 was the most recent but 2000, 2001, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2013 didn’t either.
