Hurricane Lorena to hit Baja

The main impact should be rain, with stronger winds staying offshore on this track. Still, those in coastal Baja should keep an eye out for more intensification or a wobble until it passes. It should be noted that while the winds should quickly dissipate as it turns inland, heavy rain from the remnants could push farther inland and could reach Arizona this weekend.

Further west, Hurricane Kiko isn’t a threat to land yet, but longer range runs carry a decaying storm or remnants near Hawai’i in 7-10 days …

There is an invest south of Japan that may impact Kyushu in a few days, and a disturbance in the Atlantic that should stay out of the Caribbean as it begins to turn north. Will post if/when they become a threat.
