Still nothing much to add to this morning’s post. The tornado risk for south Florida is really kicking in, and there are warnings up mainly south of I-4. I wouldn’t expect to see an much north of that, especially north of I-10. Here’s the 1pm maps, but this changes minute to minute so if you’ve listened to me rant you already have a weather radio and it’s blasting away at you …

Just a couple words of advice. First, I’m seeing a lot of “it’s south of the track!” and “ZOMG It’s turning north!” No and no. Storms wobble – WATCH THE SKIES, um, watch for trends. Here are the latest satellite fixes – some south, some north, but following the official track line (in pink) for the most part, and definitely within the pink “catastrophic damage” swath.

If you are in the pink, gray, red, or orange areas be prepared for a rough ride, the wobbles won’t save or curse you much! You’ll have to hope the dry air and shear knock the storm down some (and as I keep saying, hope isn’t a plan). Hopefully you are already someplace safe.
For GA/SC, no real changes from the discussion this morning.
