As spring kicks in to high gear and the Atlantic Hype-those-canes! season approaches, always good to take a minute to smell the flowers. Just watch out for the bees …

I’m working on an epic rant over some recent articles about the upcoming hurricane season. Headlines like “Explosive” and “Hyperactive” are being thrown around. True, there are some early indications we may have an active season, HOWEVER – and this is a huge caveat – our ability to do seasonal forecasts is marginal prior to late April, something known as the “Spring Barrier.” So don’t get excited or scared just yet – as usual, this current hype is just opportunists and fear mongers fishing for clicks and ad revenues more so than actually trying to inform you about potential risks.

We have a lovely bunch of honey bees pollinating our fruit trees…
Your bee pics are amazing. I love the Supreme Beings almost as much.
Thank you for the pics
