Andrea gone, West Pacific depressions

NHC could only mange to do three advisories before giving up on Andrea – it’s now a low swirl of clouds. The invest off the coast of Mexico continues to show potential and is organizing, will likely spin up this weekend.

There two depressions in the West Pacific, Sepat is fading rapidly as it passes Tokyo, shouldn’t cause any major issues. Tropical Depression Three might become a weak tropical storm before landfall but is also unlikely to cause any major problems.

So, tropics are still pretty boring, with borderline tropical systems wandering the oceans. But that’s normal for this time of year, things don’t usually get interesting for another few weeks.
