Bottom line is a messy morning with rain and gusty winds. No warnings at present, but that could change if something stronger spins up. Shouldn’t be anything terrible, but be alert for severe thunderstorm warnings just in case. Take it easy getting to work (street flooding/ponding), should be cleared out by afternoon.

Almost 3″ here in midtown Savannah. The early arrival of the system here on the coast (by ~5-6 hours) means it has a lot more moisture in it – forecast was for about 1.5-2″, we’ll probably get almost double that.
