Snowmageddon Update (saturday afternoon looking at Sunday)

From the afternoon briefings by NWS, the latest is that for the Frogmore Metroplex (Coastal GA/SC) not much as changed: Sunday morning and early/mid afternoon will be very cold rain (Temp in the 40’s and dropping, some wind). Any snow should be well inland, although West Frogmore (Beaufort) and West Chatham, Fort Stewart, etc. might (might – 10% chance) get a trace. Here’s the expected amounts …

… and here is the “reasonable worst case” (or best, if you want snow!):

Further inland, there is now a winter storm warning for central Georgia, so travel isn’t advised Sunday morning in that area, including long stretches of I-95 and I-75:

Again, frozen precip aside, it’s going to be cold and wet Sunday morning so even near the coast be prepared for an unpleasant experience. Gusty winds means the wind will be biting especially Monday Morning, but Tuesday and Wednesday will be cold as well (by our standards).
