PTC8 will probably bring tropical storm conditions to the upper South Carolina coast and lower North Carolina coast over the next 24 hours … Key Messages regarding Potential Tropical Cyclone Eight (en Español: Mensajes Claves). Major threat is heavy surf, minor coastal flooding, some potential for heavy rain and flash flooding. All of these impacts should remain near or north of the Charleston area, Myrtle Beach probably the epicenter, with impacts up through the Jacksonville/Fort Bragg (yeah, yeah, “Liberty”) area.

It is not a threat to Frogmore or its less respected suburbs (Beaufort, Hilton Head, or the wrong side of the river, aka Savannah). More in the morning …
