Elsewhere, as we end the year 2776 ab urbe condita (since the founding of the city of Rome), the fire-apes who run the planet continue to make things miserable for themselves. The year ends as it began, with wars and rumors of wars. I started to write about that, but the post rapidly became pretty depressing. A new year is supposed to bring new hope, and new opportunities. Humans have so much potential to do better. So here’s the best wishes for a new year!
