Doomwatch 3 April 2026

Most of the doom we’re watching is of the “humans acting like Betta fish instead of sentient beings” kind than from nature.

With the war and assassinations making the headlines, there is some hope in a new moon mission. Unfortunately, I don’t think Artemis II is going to save the year like Apollo 8 did

But don’t despair, there is some natural doom around and I’m using it to test out some new systems and automated graphics for this year’s upcoming hurricane season. A big storm system is spinning up in the northwest …

And by tomorrow it will be dumping a wintery mix across the far notth, and thunderstorms across the central US:

It’s still cyclone (hurricane) season in the Southern Hemisphere, and while a storm is brewing north of Australia, the only active storm is only of concern to fish and fish related activities …

So will keep working and watching, and will try to post more often as we get in to spring storm season. And Happy Easter to those of you on the Western calendar 😛 … just make sure you open the right kind of eggs.
